I had originally fantasized about painting the bus red, just like the logo graphics. But the original paintwork on her is so shiny and beautiful,  I just can’t bring myself to do it.

Then I thought about painting a big red stripe along the length of the bus, but it started to look like an ambulence! The danger of folks mistaking us for a mobile hospital bus, with a ‘Doc’ on board gave rise to some amusement.

So here are two options I’ve come up with…please bear in mind that the bus isn’t perfectly horizontal in these photos, so the text looks slightly wonky.

What do you think? Option 1 or Option 2? I know which one I prefer, but I welcome your thoughts. Or maybe you have another suggestion…?

  1. Option 1. If only because the text is larger and easier to read! This is crucial! If you can do #2 with larger lettering, I like it too. :)

    • Hmmm, good point Ben. Text size for option 2 is limited by the width of the raised panel on the bus. Will give that some thought, thanks for the helpful comment.

  2. Either is good, but larger lettering for sure. Hope your trip is fun!
